The assault resulted in the temporary closure of the CTA tunnel and the Terminal 3 parking area.

Two more people are now in custody related to a theft at London's Heathrow Airport where over twenty individuals were injured by what is thought to be an irritant spray, as stated by police.

A 24-year-old man, was taken into custody in the Lambeth area for suspected theft and assault and a woman, 23 was detained on suspicion of conspiracy to commit robbery. They both remain in custody, the force said.

The arrests follow a probe into an attack at the multi-storey car park at Terminal 3 this past Sunday. Before the attack, two women were robbed of their suitcases upon exiting a parking garage elevator.

A toddler aged three was among the injured in the event. Five people were taken to the hospital for treatment and have since been discharged.

Police detained a man in his thirties for suspected robbery and assault close to the scene. He was subsequently released under investigation as the investigation proceeds.

Authorities were alerted at approximately 8:10 in the morning GMT following reports of a number of people hurt by an irritating chemical believed to be pepper spray.

The assault - which police said was isolated and not considered an act of terror - resulted in delays to rail services and the partial closure of the Central Terminal Area tunnel and the Terminal 3 parking facility briefly.
